Leah Urso has performed music for women and children in America and Israel, including concerts, dayschools, camps and seminaries. Morah Leah is a teacher and professional singer, songwriter, and studio musician. She has appeared on many recordings as well on her own CDs. Besides violin, Leah also plays mandolin, guitar, and dulcimer. Her husband, Yoseph, often accompanies her on guitar and banjo.

Leah and her husband made aliyah from Nashville, Tennessee, and they now live near Jerusalem in Tekoa. While living in the States, Leah worked with Rabbi Zalman Posner's congregation in Nashville, teaching Sunday school. It was there that she realized the need for quality Jewish songs to teach Chassidic concepts to the children. Leah began writing songs for her class, and soon had enough to create her first CD," Mitzvot, Mitzvot, Everyday!" Her second CD, "I Can See the Stars", was written and produced in Israel using some of Israel's top musicians.
